-We condition our cutting boards with a mineral oil before mailing any cutting boards to you.
-Cutting boards are not stained. Their finish is natural.
-The engraving process is a burning process, no inks or dyes used.
Every cutting board is unique and the color of wood may vary from the picture! Some boards may engrave slightly lighter or darker than the photo shows.

A NOTE ABOUT ESTHER'S NEST HOME DECOR...Each piece is made start to finish in our home in Central Illinois. All of our kits are laser cut, which can result in that little big of char & "campfire smell" that comes from burning wood. This smell will naturally go away after the piece has been exposed to the air. Knots and natural wood marking will appear...this is not a flaw, but rather the promise that your rustic home décor will feature unique designs and intricacies.
